This was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Remodel was great, everything was very clean. Breakfast was good. I came in near midnight after a long day of driving and the lady at the front desk (Johanna? I think?) was very kind and helpful. As a solo traveler, and a woman, I felt very safe here. Main doors lock at 11 and you need a room key to get in. Good location convenient to town and the highway. Little touches like the hand sanitizer pumps all over, actually having a good amount shampoo soap etc., and the ride on horses for the kids were big thumbs up. Highly recommend this place!

A lot of these old hotels are being renovated now and they often look nice in the pictures but when you get there, besides new carpet and some new sheets, there's a lot of grime and dirty walls and old bathroom fixtures. This renovation felt like every surface had been considered and redone and it was just beautiful and clean. The center Atrium was the kind of place that you just wanted to hang out in for a while. It was a shame I was at a conference so much of the time because I would have liked to be there more. Also loved that I could have my dogs and that right out the back door I was 20 ft from a walking path that went for miles along the river. Three of the four staff were very friendly. I also really appreciated a filtered bottle refilling station. I often worry about the drinkability of the water in some of these old hotels.

No complaints. Staff was cheerful and helpful. Hotel lobby and rooms were clean. Breakfast we adequate which included cereal, toast, biscuits, gravy, muffins, hard boiled eggs and a waffle maker. Also had juice and coffee. There was also an afternoon snack with crackers and cheese.

I grew up here and needed to cover family business and visit family & friends. We lucked out with decent weather (always windy). We went to the visitor bureau and grabbed info for our booking.com rental house. Casper is improving steadily. Google maps worked well to get us around. We ate at the Chinese/Hibache buffet and it was good. Love the Hat Six travel center!!! Got memorabilia at the Wyoming shop on corner of 2nd and Center streets!

It wasn't difficult to find But was very dissatisfied that when I inquired about the dog fee they responded that that was fine and I wouldn't be charged them once we got to the front desk at the hotel they charged us $25 per dog which was an extra $50 on my bill which I was not very happy about it I would never stay at one of these hotels ever again!

Definitely plan to attend the Horse Nation Indian Relay Races Championship in September. Visit Fort Caspar Museum for a wonderful presentation of Wyoming history as well as story of Casper. The River Walk is a great way to exercise in transquility away from bustle of city.
