The proximity of the hotel to Alexandria was great! Alexandria has so much to offer. We visited the river front and strolled the streets. We had a great lunch at Union Street Public House. We paid $20 for all day parking which seemed outrageous at first, but we knew our car was safe in the lot and it was centrally located.

What I enjoyed most about my trip to Washington, D.C. was visiting the National Archives Museum and the Museum of Natural History. At the Museum of Natural History, I saw beautiful gemstones and took lots of photos. At the National Archives, I was able to see the Proclamation, the Bill of Rights, and the Constitution, which was a very moving experience.
I also visited the Martin Luther King, Jr. monument, among many other important landmarks. The entire trip was so exciting that I am already planning to bring my other daughters to explore and get to know this incredible city.
Washington, D.C. is full of history and amazing places to discover, and this trip was truly unforgettable for me and my family.

Firstly if your renting the whole house they do not have it anywhere online or do they inform you one that there is a basement and two that someone is living there. I was informed by the owner after arriving and being in the shower she entered the house without informing me. I then was asked house many people were going to be in the house because it seemed like a get together because there was four of us in total one person being my uncle who is in a wheel chair who I took with me to pick up the keys because I was press for time. She then asked was anyone else coming I told her yes there is a small gathering for my company that would probably have no more than 10 people. We decided to not play the music because she said that there was a noise cut off time because of the person living in the basement. At around 12 we had a guy in a robe who was first seen with a cup in his hand sleep in his car in the driveway.. once approached he woke up and seemed drunk or under the influence I told him who we were and that I was going to call the police because he was too under the influence to explain why he was there. He later returned in a robe banging on the door threatening to call the police..

I booked this property specifically because it appeared in my Booking.com search results for hotels offering **free parking and free breakfast**. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and did not match the expectations created during the booking process.
Upon arrival, I was surprised to find that the hotel had **no on-site parking area whatsoever**, not even a designated space to temporarily unload luggage during check-in. We were forced to stop on the street and unload our bags while blocking traffic, which was stressful and inconvenient.
The disappointment continued at check-in when I was informed by the front desk staff member, Micha, that parking was available only through a separate arrangement at an additional cost of **$45 per night**, and that **breakfast was not included**. This directly contradicted the reasons I selected this property in the first place.
While the hotel itself may have other positive qualities, the inaccurate or misleading presentation of key amenities significantly impacted my stay. As a traveler, I rely on the accuracy of booking platforms when making decisions. Discovering that two of the most important amenities I specifically searched for were unavailable left me feeling misled, frustrated, and disappointed.
I strongly encourage the hotel management and booking platforms to ensure that amenity listings are accurate and transparent so that future guests can make informed decisions and avoid similar experiences.

Far exceeded my expectations.
Far exceeded my expectations. The Monuments, parks and streets were very clean and well kept. Coming from California, I had concerns. However, there was no evidence of homelessness and panhandling throughout our DC travels. We took ride share through DC at all hours of the day and night and never felt unsafe.

We had to call back after the trip to try to find some lost keys. While the staff was again friendly and helpful when we got through, it took several tries (an annoying number). Each time the person answering would quickly put me on hold long enough that it seemed I was being ignored.
(without even being able to say why I was calling).
Don't expect to get through on the phone unless you call several times !

The streets were beautiful and clean. As we were walking around DC we encountered several groups of National Guard members. I'm always outgoing and asked them questions about whether they do this all the time or was it a special weekend. They patrol all the time was their response. That made me feel safer. We encountered several people who were very friendly when we needed help. It was a very pleasant trip.
