Alexandria is in the suburbs of Washington and at the end of the yellow Metro (tube) which has a park and ride facility which we used extensively during our stay. The Metro is inexpensive as is the car park with the car park being free to use at weekends. Washington center is easily reached, Capitol Building, Lincoln Memorial, etc. using the Yellow Line. Change to the Blue Line for Arlington Cemetery. Staying in Alexandria is cheaper than Washington and has many facilities, restaurants. I would not recommend trying to park a car in Washington itself.

Washington DC is huge disappointment.

Washington DC is huge disappointment. The museums are dusty dirty and loud literal super webs on some of the most famous jewelry America has. Can’t even pay attention to the museums because the museums security are constantly yelling at each other and acting like fools. Homeless everywhere even half a block from the White House. 25 police officers per block, construction everywhere. Don’t even think about driving anywhere unless you wanna pay 100s for parking. Really disappointed this is what we call th city capital. Its just huge show of wealth with insane sized government buildings with the public starving and homeless sleeping on sewer vents for warmth. I don’t recommend DC for anyone. Terrible dirty dangerous place. Better off staying at home and doing virtual tours of the museums.

The staff was friendly and helpful while we were there (for one night). We had to call back after the trip to try to find some lost keys. While the staff was again friendly and helpful when we got through, it took several tries (an annoying number). Each time the person answering would quickly put me on hold long enough that it seemed I was being ignored. (without even being able to say why I was calling). Don't expect to get through on the phone unless you call several times !

The beds were very comfortable. The lady in the breakfast bar was very, very nice and accommodated. Most of the people that I saw. When we? Were at breakfast. When we got up that morning, I went down to the front desk to let the other lady know.She was light skinned About how that girl was Rude to us

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Facility was clean and tidy. The towels were great. Parking costs extra but worth it because my car was safe and convenient. Nice to have a restaurant in the hotel but there were a couple of places near by for a quick bite.

Big foodie so that's always a plus love the diversity. Don't like seeing Gucci stores prada all the big branded stores /stripea just pouring in money then look across the street it's a whole homeless takeover it's very tragic and it's like 4 mins from the yt house that was crazy it was like rich then super poor but you cam see it shift.. I never go deep in dt durning the day but man that was a eye opener for sure..

We didn’t really explore much in Oxon Hill, but there was a lot to do. Top Golf was next door to our hotel and it seemed to be a very popular attraction. The MGM was cool…shops, dining, Casino…what else is there to say? We spent the evening eating and taking in the sights there, pretty neat 👍. There’s an Outlet Mall for tons of shopping and just about every restaurant that you could imagine in the area. Wish we could have spent more time exploring Oxon Hill, maybe next time!

We look forward returning again and again and again, here is our main stay for friends and family to meet, rest and prepare for whatever the occasion maybe away from our homes on business or leisure time. We learned of various places to eat out, so on this stay we traveled once to "Silver Diner, and once to Wendy's ".

Traveling to the hotel you get the chance to see the sights of Washington DC as you make your way through this amazing city. Traffic is horrible at times but that comes with the work life and other travelers around the city.
