Excellent hotel - immaculately cleaned rooms, modern and staff were extremely helpful each time I reached out for help or assistance with something. This will now be my go to hotel whenever I visit DMV.

The receptionist lady, Virginia went out of her way to help us with everything: she told us about the airport shuttle, the pool, breakfast, everything, and alao helped with preparing the invoice for our company - she was absolutely fabulous, so we are very thankful to her!
Breakfast was great, and the staff was very kind, too.

Its our first time in DC and having a hotel near the airport is very convenient for us. Our room got microwave and fridge. On the hallways we have the ice cube dispenser! The Metro is just like 12mins by foot. There’s a Mcdonalds beside it. CVS 4mins away by foot. The Receptionist forgot his name, a guy really nice and accomodating. Checking out was with Karen. The complimentart Pick up transfer to and
From the airport was really awesome! That’s a plus!

Washington DC is a beautiful city but there are too many over-the-top rules, one has no access to enjoy the night life. I went to Madam Organ and Bossa place next door and was told I couldn't go in, backpacks not allowed! They didn't think it was ridiculous and unreasonable, and recommend I leave it under a bench outside all night, my small backpack that had my passport a change of shoes, rain gear and important emergency med. DC is not a welcoming city. Union Station sucks for Wi-Fi, the Events have no compassion for the people standing for miles in the heat and rain, and have no problems sending you away because of, again, Backpacks!

Firstly if your renting the whole house they do not have it anywhere online or do they inform you one that there is a basement and two that someone is living there. I was informed by the owner after arriving and being in the shower she entered the house without informing me. I then was asked house many people were going to be in the house because it seemed like a get together because there was four of us in total one person being my uncle who is in a wheel chair who I took with me to pick up the keys because I was press for time. She then asked was anyone else coming I told her yes there is a small gathering for my company that would probably have no more than 10 people. We decided to not play the music because she said that there was a noise cut off time because of the person living in the basement. At around 12 we had a guy in a robe who was first seen with a cup in his hand sleep in his car in the driveway.. once approached he woke up and seemed drunk or under the influence I told him who we were and that I was going to call the police because he was too under the influence to explain why he was there. He later returned in a robe banging on the door threatening to call the police..

Alexandria is in the suburbs of Washington and at the end of the yellow Metro (tube) which has a park and ride facility which we used extensively during our stay. The Metro is inexpensive as is the car park with the car park being free to use at weekends. Washington center is easily reached, Capitol Building, Lincoln Memorial, etc. using the Yellow Line. Change to the Blue Line for Arlington Cemetery. Staying in Alexandria is cheaper than Washington and has many facilities, restaurants. I would not recommend trying to park a car in Washington itself.

I think they could inform more about the activities there in Washington and the times the activities open and closes. We didn't really get a chance to do anything, it was too late, we asked them was there any fun activities they suggested the warf, and gave us flyers. but we arrive to the warf and the boat rides were closed we are coming back to Washington, now we know the time it open, closes and where to go.

The staff was friendly and helpful while we were there (for one night).
We had to call back after the trip to try to find some lost keys. While the staff was again friendly and helpful when we got through, it took several tries (an annoying number). Each time the person answering would quickly put me on hold long enough that it seemed I was being ignored.
(without even being able to say why I was calling).
Don't expect to get through on the phone unless you call several times !

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Facility was clean and tidy. The towels were great. Parking costs extra but worth it because my car was safe and convenient. Nice to have a restaurant in the hotel but there were a couple of places near by for a quick bite.

The mall and the Smithsonian were great, especially the National Gallery of Art. Also really enjoyed the Smithsonian's craft show. The Mall has a lot of construction going on, which is good for maintaining our national treasures, but all the Trump banners get in the way of what would be good photo opportunities. Went to Arlington to visit a great uncle's grave, and also went by JFK and Unknown Soldier memorials - very moving.

Close to Chinatown metro (yellow line from DCA), friendly and helpful staff - capsules are as expected but fairly comfortable for what they are. Free breakfast 10/10 well above hostel standard. Good lounging areas & overall perfect for my one night solo stopover.
