Amazingly comfortable apartment style property. Fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, laundry all in the unit. Pretty spacious apartment. Staffs were super responsive. My washer was not working and they fixed it next day. Great location as well.

FAQs about hotels in Washington

A World Icon

Boasting many national treasures, Washington DC is the US capital and home to the world’s most iconic presidential building – The White House. Most visitors start at the National Mall, a huge park stretching from the Potomac River to the Capitol Building. It also encompasses the Washington Monument obelisk and the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, of particular significance in US civil rights, commemorated by the latest addition - the Martin Luther King Memorial.

Also here are 11 of the city’s 17 incredible Smithsonian museums, including the unmissable National Museum of American History.

If all this gets too much, wander around Georgetown’s Colonial buildings and take a break in one of the student cafés. Many world cuisines are represented in Washington DC and the city also has its fair share of live music venues, with a surprisingly good jazz scene. The National Symphony Orchestra is based here and the Kennedy Center hosts a range of productions.

DC’s planning policy means there are no skyscrapers, so if you fly into Washingon Dulles Airport over the city, you see its white buildings standing proud. The city is also served by Baltimore-Washington Thurgood Marshall Airport and Washington National Airport. All are quite a way out, so leave plenty of time to get there from your hotel, apartment or guest house booked through Booking.com.

The awas a fun festival happening while there that we were not expecting. We went to a Baseball and Soccer game while in town. Did a tour of the Capitol building, went through a Smithsonian, walked through a College campus, and visited Union Market.

I really like Adams Morgan area and downtown DC.

I really like Adams Morgan area and downtown DC. Enjoy travelling to and from Union Station. It is so convenient and clean. There are many restaurants to choose from as well. Need a closer train/Metro in Adams Morgan area. Had to take an Uber to get to Lincoln Memorial.

### Washington, DC Review

### Washington, DC Review Washington, DC is such a beautiful city with so much to see and do. I loved walking around and exploring the historic sites, beautiful neighborhoods, and iconic landmarks. The city has a great mix of history, culture, restaurants, and things to see, and many attractions are easy to explore on foot. I especially enjoyed the atmosphere in the evening, it was beautiful and lively. Definitely a city I’d love to visit again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very walkable city, bike share for the longer jaunts is easy and affordable. having so many free museums makes a week go by quickly. Main tourist areas are a bit pricey but finding the local eateries is fun and much more affordable. Friendly and helpful people are all over if you look for them. Yes people do smile back! If you eat in the cafe at the National Gallery of Art, you will get a made to order sandwich combo for the same price as Burger King, and the chef is absolutely fun! We were here for the Freedom 250 Indycar race which allowed us time to visit only 2 museums, so we have to come back to catch the others.

Washington DC was great to visit.

Washington DC was great to visit. It was hot this time of year, so come prepared. There is also a lot of walking involved, so prepare for that too. It was all worth it, the history was amazing and the monuments were beautiful. We went 3 days and saw a lot of what we wanted to see, but would come back to see and experience more.

The zoo, monuments and museum are great.

The zoo, monuments and museum are great. Though you have to walk a lot to visit them. There are various museums; choose only those which you are really interested in. It is impossible to see all. The zoo is also great, but there is a lot of uphill walking while returning, and so 40 mins is required to walk back to the entry-exit point. Monuments are all very good; walk around the lake and take a break on the way. There are park benches, toilets and drinking water all around to take breaks. The only catch is please do not carry plastic bottles; most places do not allow plastic bottles, only metal bottles are allowed. Food is allowed in the zoo only.

This hotel is the Best location for a foreign tourist. It is very near Union Station for train rides from Dulles and metro rides. The circulator bus stop is also very near. There are many food options at the food court of Union Station. I was surprised to find out upon check out that this hotel is 100 years old. The free coffee machine at the 2nd floor is excellent for breakfast

Room was clean, very small but we knew this going in. Staff were great and the hotel itself was really nice. The room is very simple (e.g. no fridge) but again - it's a cheaper hotel and it's very nice inside so it's a trade off I was willing to make.

Perfect location, 10 mins walk to the metro (DuPont Circle). Convenient that they have a paroling lot beneath their hotel. Bare in mind though, it’s $59.00 for an overnight parking so not very cheap. Very helpful concierge as well.
