the shuttle from the airport is great and convenient - unfortunately my connecting flight was far too early for me to experience breakfast - the room was lovely and covered all my needs

Location and Transport

Denver International Airport is around 25 miles (40 kilometres) from the city itself, with a taxi or DIA airport shuttle ride getting you downtown in about 25 minutes. You also have the option of using the city’s public transport system, with the A Line rail service offering convenient access between the city and the airport.

For those in need of a few hours' sleep before a flight, plenty of hotels are situated close to the airport terminal. A 24-hour car park can be found within a 10-minute walk of the airport and the cheapest option costs USD 3 per hour or USD 13 per day. Terminal Information

Catching a connecting flight at Denver International will require travellers to pass through immigration - a passport, visa or ESTA may be necessary. For the best view of the Rockies, head towards gates C23 and C24.

Doreen was an excellent hostess.

Doreen was an excellent hostess. She greeted me at the door and walked me around the 6 different rooms she had available for stays. I chose the basement room and found it quiet. Sure there were other people there and their movement and conversations could be heard, but by 10pm everyone was quiet. I had early morning meetings to attend so I usually left the house at 6:30am and I was the only one up. The basement rooms have a little kitchenette next to them. The space had been recently renovated and some remains of the renovation were about and the other guests hadn't cleaned up after themselves too well. Also, I didn not get a hand towel or a washcloth in my bathroom. Doreen told me I could text her at anytime for anything, but I found the linen closet and was able to get a handtowel, but there didn't seem to be any washcloths for our use. I wasn't going to disturb my host on this point, so this one is on me.

This house feels like its way out on the prairies but is still only 25 mins to the airport which you can see in the distance. Great relaxed feel about the whole place and there's some interesting decor and furniture. Danyelle and Ken are great hosts!

If you want a stress free stay go elsewhere.

If you want a stress free stay go elsewhere. Also I paid ALL of my dues and fees AND left the room in better condition than I found it and they STILL tried to charge me extra. They attempted $200, twice $150 once as well as $100, they successfully charged my account for $10 twice and $5 on the same day. Totaling $25 extra they charged me and I haven't gotten a reason being.

Just to share an honest review... I didn't care too much for the city itself.... but I felt very welcomed by the staff at the hotel...jaime helped make things that were difficult personally much less of a weight...I cant say enough about the staffs ability to make it home for a week...

My husband's family was close to Brighton years ago, so we like this little area to stay. It's very close to everyone we need to visit and enjoyed the wonderful Holiday Inn Express. We enjoy the Mile High flea Market, Billy's Cafe, Palizzi Farmers Market along with the new shopping mall.

We really got to enjoy the shopping experience at the Aurora...

We really got to enjoy the shopping experience at the Aurora mall and decided to watch a movie at the local theater. It was a really nice place to enjoy all the entertainment and dinning . We were lucky enough to catch the local traveling carnival in the parking lot that night and all the kids had an amazing time .

Aurora is a peaceful and welcoming city with a beautifully diverse population. It’s perfect for anyone who appreciates clean air and a calm lifestyle. The weather is generally warmer than in Toronto, and the atmosphere feels fresh and open. For those who enjoy fishing and spending time outdoors, Aurora is truly an excellent place to be.

Very affordable rates close to the city of Denver, Downtown. You can take bus or train from the Central Park and there are several restaurants and shops around the hotel. Why do you want to pay more than x5 in Downtown Denver when you can reach there using public transport with in 25-30 minutes. In addition, you can reach the Denver International Airport through the Central Park TRD.

I booked the Avid Hotel as I was in transit from Australia to Florida to attend a conference. I was looking for a place to re-sync my time zone travel. Avid is modern, clean and reasonably located (9km from DEN airport). They do have a shuttle service that runs every 30 minutes which is useful.

This is my second time at this hotel and I recommend it for travelers who have early or late flights from DEN. The hotel is close to the airport and offers a shuttle service. The room is comfortable and the breakfast is as good as expected. Even though the hotel is close to the airport, the sound isolation on the windows is really good and you don't hear any aircraft noise.
