We booked late, and the only room that fit. Our criteria was on the second floor. The gentleman at the desk helped us carry things up and make sure I could get up there with my cane. We were too late for breakfast in the morning, so he offered us some boiled eggs. He was very kind and helpful.

Gallup was great. The little i saw of it. I would reccommend visitors, travellers check out Gallup for her interesting history her impact and contribution to our culture. Our American culture.
I would not suggest anyone to stay at the Gallup Motel 6 for any reason.

I can’t say a whole lot because I don’t know the area. We were just passing by and needed to stay at a hotel.. one thing I would NOT recommend is Travelodge hotel.
That hotel is rundown ghetto looking. Looks like nobody slept there. They might have bedbugs. ETC.

This is an older hotel but it has a lot of character and nostalgic charm that we enjoyed. Rooms were clean and the bed was good. Our room windows faced Route 66 so it was rather noisy with traffic all night and the air conditioner was rather loud as well. The bathroom had a great shower but the room was so tiny there was no where to put your toiletries. We ate in the restaurant for supper and the burgers and fries were good but nothing remarkable. If you feel newer hotels are lacking in character and charm, stay here. It was a fun stay.
