As seasoned travellers from the UK we came across this little gem after stopping off the Amtrak station. The manager Ansh was fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us. The Victorian room was beautiful and very unique. The history and memorabilia in the hotel was very unique. La plata was a very special place for us and this property is just perfect would definitely recommend to any travellers!

Located just off Highway 63, this hotel is next to the Kirksville Country Club. It serves a continental breakfast every morning and features an on-site fitness center. The manager, he was great…thanks Ray!
