Location and Transport

Located 6 miles (9 kilometres) east of downtown Jackson, Jackson-Evers Airport is the busiest airport in Mississippi. The most convenient way to reach it is by taxi, which carries a minimum fare of USD 42 and takes around 20 minutes.

As I’ve said in previous surveys, this was the most horrible...

As I’ve said in previous surveys, this was the most horrible place I have ever stayed in my entire life. The floors was wet and filthy. The place was humid, and my son’s asthma acted up because of this. There were no shampoo conditioner body wash the fan in the bathroom did not work. The hairdryer did not work. The bathroom was filthy. Had I not been there to go to my brothers wake and funeral I would have thought to get my money back and to stay in a different room if nothing else it was horrific experience.

Flowood is a very pleasant shopping area.

Flowood is a very pleasant shopping area. It has a big selection of stores from old navy, tjmaxx and academy to smaller boutiques. Also had a wide selection of eating places. We loved relaxing in the frozen yogurt shop after a long day in the sun .

AC was ice cold I like a room about 65 degrees AC did the job. Ice machine on 2nd floor didn't work, had to use one on the 1st floor, vending machine on 1st floor didn't work had to buy soft drink at front desk.

We appreciated having a grocery store nearby. We didn't need to shop for anything else, but it seemed to all be there if we had needed anything else. We ate out only once at a place where our family took us, but there appeared to be plenty of restaurants nearby. Getting around in the small area where we stayed was very easy. The streets were well marled. We were not travelling with children, so we were not aware of activities for children.

I visit Flowood 4 - 6 times a year for business.

I visit Flowood 4 - 6 times a year for business. I love the area in general. Lots of restaurants and shops. The area where the Best Western is located is NOT a good area. I had never stayed at this location before and never will again. Constant police activity at the gas station next door and a lot of drug activity in the area. The next time I come back I will stay closer to the heart of Flowood and not on the outskirts.

It’s central for business plenty options from fast food to restaurants steak seafood has outdoor mall the town itself seems to have plenty law enforcement so there’s a level of safety that they provide it’s close to the amphitheater in Brandon minor league baseball stadium next to Bass pro in for concerts there’s Walmart Sam’s Clubs Home

Before coming here I had never heard of Brandon Mississippi.

Before coming here I had never heard of Brandon Mississippi. Brandon is a medium sized town, very well kept and nice looking. A lot of beautiful scenery with plenty of activities. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly. I recommend Burgers, Blues and BBQ restaurant for lunch or dinner and the Spillway Cafe for breakfast in the morning.

Was really impressed the room was more than i was expecting at a reasonable price . Room was large and very clean. Property was new or well kept. Welcoming staff when .arrived was great with biscuits and gravy and a cappuccino machine. would definitely stay there again I would highly recommend. enjoyed our stay, thank y'all for the hospitality..

Take what you need.

Take what you need. Vending machines are high and not much in the way of choice. I was traveling across country with a full car,dogs and things I was moving with, so I didn't really think about anything. They do have coffee pots for sale, but I was there just one night.

Staff was fine , the hot water in the shower was tepid , no parking , boxes of parts everywhere, curtains did block out bright lights outside the room difficult to get to off freeway, the grounds had tons of equipment every where , made for an unpleasant stay
