United StatesThe clerk was disrespectful and unprofessional. The room was a mess, and was told I couldn’t change my room even though there were plenty. The room: no bed spread, gum underneath the bed, the floor wasn’t swept, the towels were dirty, the showers had dirt and the soap from previous person, the tv had no cable and 4 channels. The clerk told me that if I checked out late it was $20 ( check out is at 11am, but if I stayed then I’ll be charged and the late checkout is at 11:10 am.) WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!

First, front desk is amazing and welcoming. That most important on a long trip for closing. Management handle a medical situation with my grandson top tier (ashama). I really do appreciate everyone. My second room was amazing!

We looked for an affordable room to stop for the night that...
We looked for an affordable room to stop for the night that was close to Atlanta and didn’t have their prices. Byron is about an hour and 15 minutes outside of downtown Atlanta just off I-75. Perfect for what we needed. Went to the World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta next day. There was a Kroger close by where we did some grocery shopping and stopped to have supper at Olive Garden too.

I have nothing good to say about this facility. This suppose to be a drug-free facility and it was not. Inside and outside of this facility reeked with drug smells. The drug scent was not just from the outside coming in, but it was also coming from the inside. The representative was deceitful in that he never gave a receipt for my cancellation at this hotel. He gave the $100 deposit back, but kept my $574.50 for the reservation. When I requested for the money or the cancellation slip, he said that I must get in touch with Booking.com and Affirm, of which I got a cancellation from Booking.com. But this facility has yet to release my money back to my Affirm account. This to me is downright theft and dishonesty. Please corporate officials look into this for me. This has been over a week with no explanations to why they are keeping my money.

Byron, Ga. is a nice little town.
Byron, Ga. is a nice little town. It's close to many interesting attractions and the choice of restaurants is very good. There are a few places to shop and many others close by. The Peach Outlet mall was very nice with a good selection of shops.

If you like history or are interested in architecture, then Macon has many buildings to see. It is a hilly town so be prepared to walk up depending on your location. We only had a one day stay so did not have opportunity to explore more. However, we would consider it in the future.

Bed comfortable, restaurant on site with entertainment and bar, indoor pool and spa area, lots of restaurants and other familiar stores near location and gas prices were not bad. Air Force Museum near.

The breakfast was very good and the wait staff for breakfast was helpful.
The clerk at the front desk was not welcoming and seemed to be bothered to have to accommodate us and/or answer questions. She was eating snacks and did not stop eating when we were checking in. Our key was incorrectly keyed and did not open or door. When we told the same clerk, she glared at us and appeared to be bothered that she had to re-key our room key. There was no apology or thank you or any type of normal manners expressed to us.

I love to walk. A lot.
I love to walk. A lot. We found the Ocmulgee Mounds National Historic Park and were so pleasantly surprised by the trails and the history lessons. We also enjoyed some great dining in town. We were there just for an overnight on a road trip.. 24 hours was about right.
