SwitzerlandNice hotel, perfectly located in the center. Room was pretty, nothing to complain about, also a nice reception, where we got a view tips about where to get dinner (we arrived rather late after our long flight and a drive from ATL to Macon).
The area is highly walkable. You can use a valet - but if you don't mind walking a few steps, there's ample street parking, which is free during the night until 8am

I have nothing good to say about this facility.
I have nothing good to say about this facility. This suppose to be a drug-free facility and it was not. Inside and outside of this facility reeked with drug smells. The drug scent was not just from the outside coming in, but it was also coming from the inside. The representative was deceitful in that he never gave a receipt for my cancellation at this hotel. He gave the $100 deposit back, but kept my $574.50 for the reservation. When I requested for the money or the cancellation slip, he said that I must get in touch with Booking.com and Affirm, of which I got a cancellation from Booking.com. But this facility has yet to release my money back to my Affirm account. This to me is downright theft and dishonesty. Please corporate officials look into this for me. This has been over a week with no explanations to why they are keeping my money.

If you like history or are interested in architecture, then Macon has many buildings to see. It is a hilly town so be prepared to walk up depending on your location. We only had a one day stay so did not have opportunity to explore more. However, we would consider it in the future.

I love to walk. A lot.
I love to walk. A lot. We found the Ocmulgee Mounds National Historic Park and were so pleasantly surprised by the trails and the history lessons. We also enjoyed some great dining in town. We were there just for an overnight on a road trip.. 24 hours was about right.

Macon is a well rounded community.
Macon is a well rounded community. Big enough to find plenty to do and yet not so big that there are the big city problems of traffic jams. Macon is just right. I like the historic downtown with St. Joseph’s Cathedral. Incredibly beautiful. Hayes House is beautiful. Part of the beautiful downtown is built up on a bluff overlooking the city and the river, which is nice, too. A lot of people are living in Macon and commuting to Robins AFB in Warner Robins or are commuting to Atlanta so they can retire and live in a nice sized city instead of huge Atlanta.

Stayed the night passing through the hotel staff was amazing very friendly and helpful the restaurants in the area left a lot to be desired as far as customer service but the micotel by Wyndham was a great experience

Be sure to go to H&H Restaurant for fresh great food. Also, Jim Shaw's Seafood for fresh fish and great food. Go see the Cannonball House & Museum. Very interesting and historic and the historic churches. Great time!

Barbara at the reception desk is amazing!! She greeted us, welcomed us, recommended nearby restaurants and was so professional and friendly. Pool was amazing first thing in the morning before my long drive. Breakfast is one of the best deals u have ever had at a hotel!!! Do not miss it.

The price for the 2 week stay was very reasonable. The rooms were way better than the normal hotel rooms. These are like mini apartments with full size refrigerators a place to cook food and wash dishes.

Very nice welcome by the lobby staff. Our room was clean, large, well equipped and comfortable. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and we were very happy with both experiences.
