Our host Noe M was extremely welcoming and we had a great chat, he accommodated all our requests and even bought in another chair into our room. The room was very well air-conditioned and the beds are extremely comfortable. There was a patio/smoking-area very close to our room which was very handy and had some seating. Don't be afraid of the sign "Liquor Store" next door. It had a full range of groceries and drinks and prepares fresh sandwiches which were delicious

The stuff there was really amazing.
The stuff there was really amazing. The only bad thing is that our first room we got smelled like smoke but the staff was really helpful and gave us a new room but the new room AC smell like rotten, mold and old and when you open the window you can hear all the noise from the freeway. Breakfast it was not that good. I didn’t have that much options. Besides just pancakes, waffles and juice and yogurts.

I could save the money by driving to Sacramento an easy ride, but I was after a Christmas party, I wanted some piece of mind, and the hotel gives you a sense of vacation. The hotel is renovated. The staff is friendly; they changed my room to not be on the side of the freeway. They are nice, warm, and welcoming people.

We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the attentive friendly staff. We purchased breakfast from a close by restaurant. It was tasty. We were very disappointed that the Gallo Center Symphony was cancelled because of the rain.

Gallo Center for the Arts is beautiful.
Gallo Center for the Arts is beautiful. Highly recommend hipster joint Churchkey for a meal when you're in the area; walking distance to the Gallo Center. Swing by Boomers for go-kart racing if you have a few extra minutes!

The area was right down town.
The area was right down town. We had cars driving by with booming music until late at night - as well as lots of emergency vehicle noise. There were a few kinda menacing people walking through the parking lot.

I lived in Modesto for 7 years. My husband and I enjoyed the relatively inexpensive lifestyle as compared to the Bay Area. Many variety of good paying jobs; beautiful country club, many neighbors safe, beautiful and clean.
