Maureen and Tom are absolutely lovely hospitable and kind B&B owners. They went out of their way to help give us recommendations on what to do, see and where to eat. And if Tom and Maureen were busy you could always count on one of the three dogs to be there. Jax, Lizzie and Bella are absolutely adorable. The breakfast was outstanding! It was cooked by Tom and Maureen themselves and that showed. To add to that, Maureen likes to bake and had new goodies each day. It was way too much to eat everything, but lucky for us there were ‘to go’ bags. So lunch was sorted as well. On top of that there were free snacks in the common area and in our room. It was also possible to get water, tea or coffee (with about ten different cups to choose from) in the common room. I simply cannot recommend enough to stay here. You won’t be disappointed!
And if you go, don’t forget to ask Maureen about the lovely earrings she makes :D

NO BREAKFAST SERVED. WE MADE OUR OWN WITH FOOD PURCHASED AT LOCAL WALMART. THE HOUSE WAS OPEN AND AIRY. THE BATHROOMS HAD ENOUGH HOT WATER. A GRILL OUTSIDE ON THE DECK WHICH WE USED ONE TIME. THE LOCATION WAS QUIET & WOODED WITH NEIGHBORS CLOSE BY. TRASH CANS LEFT OUT BY THE CURB SO WE DID NOT NEED TO PUT THE CANS OUT FOR TRASH PICKUP. PLENTY OF RESTAURANTS IN TOBYHANNA.

I had a king room with a jacuzzi that could fit 2 people and a balcony. The room was remodeled recently. The staff was friendly and there was a good breakfast with oatmeal and eggs. There's also a nice size pool. Convenient easy on easy off the interstate.

Very run down hotel and Very musty spelling. It was a overnight stay and we made it through the night and we were out of there before 9am the following morning. We needed to be out of there, needs a lot of work and upkeep. Pictures online are NOT what the hotel looks like.

The house is very nice & clean I felt very comfortable & Omg the couch is so cozy 🥰 I love the tent in the backyard so stylish & unique great house for pictures . Also the house haves a driveway which is always a Great ! The host has everything you will need you don’t run out of anything, everything in the house also works the Host was very clear on instructions far as how to use any & everything. I enjoyed my stay so much I will be booking for the nearest future !

SOFA LOOKS LIKE PRE-DINOSAUS AGE AND DISGUSTING. KITCHEN SINK CLOGGED, STOVE BURNERS BROKEN. LONG HAIRS STUCK TO BATHROOM WALLS AND DIRTY. BED VERY UNCOMFORTABLE AND THEY ONLY HAD 1 PILLOW PER PERSON. COULD NOT SLEEP AND WAS SCARED OF BED BUGS.

One of the highlights of our trip was Tobyhanna.
One of the highlights of our trip was Tobyhanna. What I liked most was how peaceful and scenic the area felt—it was the perfect escape from the busyness of everyday life. The natural surroundings really stood out, with plenty of space to relax, take walks, and just enjoy the outdoors.
It had a quiet, laid-back vibe that made it easy to unwind, especially after a full day. At the same time, it was still convenient to get to nearby spots when we wanted to explore a bit more.
Overall, Tobyhanna added a lot to the experience and made the trip feel like a true getaway.

Very pleasant stay at the SwiftWater. The view from the room of the woods and deers roaming was a unique experience. Dinner at the onsite restaurant was pricey yet delicious. The staff was extremely polite, professional, and helpful. The pool was relatively small but enjoyable and warm. Parking was free and the location of the property was great.

When making a reservation, confirm that the room has a heating system, if you reserve during winter. In summer rooms have an A/C.
Know that the amenities are very limited and the WiFi is very weak; the phone hotspot was also weak (ATT).
The phone desk was not working, but it could have been that phone alone (?).
If you reserve a studio (Kitchen corner) you will have all the necessary basic utensils to cook.

Nice location within gated community, minutes from pool and lake with beach. Close to restaurants, shops, Camelback water parks and skiing, which is at the base of Big Pocono park and the summit with unbelievable views.

Love this property.
Love this property. The only complaint would be more areas around the property outside to walk or sit by the water. It’s beautiful outside and grounds are gorgeous.
Guy Fieri’s restaurant was meh.
Buffet was excellent.
Italian restaurant looked very expensive.
Didn’t take advantage of the spa this trip. Next time!
Staff everywhere are extremely friendly.
Resort and room were very clean.
Outlets mall four miles away. Have every store, which was nice.
Will be back for sure.

The first word that comes to mind is CLEAN.
The first word that comes to mind is CLEAN. The kitchen part was well supplies with stove refrigerator microwave and sink. There was also pots dishes and silverware which made eating more convenient. The bed was so comfortable ample towels. The elevator was rather small and very slow. All and all it is a wonderful place located near Kalahari and a while lot cheaper without sacrificing quality.
