Boasting an on-site European-style café, this family-run property is located in Prescott town center. Free Wi-Fi and a kitchenette are included in all guest rooms. The host greeted us promptly as we entered the facility. After completing the checkin paperwork she escorted us to our unit and explained various items within the unit. Since the restaurant was going to be closed on the Sunday of our checkout she offered to provide us with some in-room breakfast items...fruit, muffins, yogurt etc. She left them the evening before our checkout morning. Very nice selection.
Zens Inn has free WiFi and rooms with air conditioning in Prescott. The property provides a shared kitchen and a shared lounge for guests. Location was great--easy walk to park and walking trail on the river, restaurants, etc. The concept of simple, inexpensive places for travelers to stay is welcome, given the lack of youth hostels and the need to have a membership to stay in them.
This Victorian-style Inn in Prescott, Ontario features an outdoor swimming pool. Individually decorated rooms boast a fireplace. Fort Wellington National Historic Site is just 3 minutes’ walk away. Beautiful old home. Very clean and comfortable. We stayed in the “Colonels room”. Gerhardt, the host, was very friendly and informative and made us a wonderful breakfast. Prescott is a quaint small town on the St. Lawrence river with some very scenic views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend.
The hotel offers a country setting on a 14-acre site with magnificent views of the St. Lawrence River. Excellent value for the money. Beautiful view, great room, and great restaurant next door for which the Gran-View had a 10% off coupon. Would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay.
Overlooking Saint Lawrence River, this Johnstown inn is less than 0.6 mi from the Canada/USA Bridge. Despite it's outdated look from the outside, this motel is highly recommend! The rooms are big and perfectly clean, the shower/bathroom are as clean as can be, soft towels, comfy beds, a small kitchenette with coffee maker. Above all, the owner is most friendly, most helpful and professional. I'd go back there to stay overnight in a heartbeat. Really, on my two weeks travel through the north, i have not had a better and pleasant motel experience.
The inn has an outdoor swimming pool and a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. All rooms in Windjammer Lodge are equipped with a flat-screen TV. The room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable! The shower was great, nice hot water! Check in was quick and easy ,and we were given juice and muffins for the morning. The view of the water out back was beautiful. It was too cold for the pool, but it looked inviting!

Located in the 1000 Islands region, the Comfort Inn Brockville offers an indoor pool and an on-site fitness center. That all the walls were scraped off and the carpeting looking like hell.
Prescott is a small, mostly industrial town. It's got some charming waterfront areas, but overall, it seems to be just a quiet little location. I'd recommend staying the night here if you're on your way to somewhere else, because it's a nice place to relax, but I wouldn't go out of my way to plan a trip to Prescott.
Wonderful, historic, peaceful Canadian village on the St. Lawrence River. Can't wait to return! The Red George Pub was a friendly place to dine, and very popular with the locals. Many historic buildings from the 1800's, including Fort Wellington and the Colonels Inn bed and breakfast.
Close to the Upper Canada Village and Rockport boat Crusies. Good stop over city if you are going to either of those areas. Prescott itself is just a small local city with nothing really to offer for Tourism.
Very close to bridge to Canada and only half and hour away from Alexandria Bay where you can take boat tours to Heart Island ( Boldt Castle), Singer Castle, and a tour of the Thousand Island mansions.
We ate at Little Italy one night. I would recommend eating somewhere else. Or stick with pizza and salad. We were there for a graduation in Potsdam. It was my first time in Ogdensburg. The views of the St. Lawrence River were beautiful.
It's always nice to revisit a place you lived in even though it was several years later. I like to browse the cemeteries where family members are buried and to drive by houses that were familiar. Buster's Restaurant had a nice salad bar and the meal was awesome. There are several options for places to dine at and all of them are close by. As far as getting around in Ogdensburg, it is very easy.
