You cannot understate how impressive this place is. The rooms are HUGE and amazingly well equipped. The building was a former school and each classroom is now a room to stay in - so they are huge (and each has its own nice bathroom too). Two huge beds, sofas and seating areas, and loads of interesting stuff. The owners have also made a great job of preserving the history of the school, and the area, and you could spend a day just looking around the room and the rest of the building, to learn about the local history. Breakfast was amazing too. See the photos. We normally skip hotel breakfast, but had to make an exception here. I was drinking tea - I even got to choose which teapot I had (there were lots of fun choices, mine was shaped like an elephant!) Ogdensburg is a really lovely place too - great parks, great ice cream shop, and a lot of history that I knew nothing about beforehand. And its a good base to visit various things from as well. Incredible job, a total and very pleasurable surprise. We even changed our schedule to stay an extra night.

This property features a seasonal outdoor pool and rooms with microwaves. The property overlooks the St. Lawrence River and offers access to a boat slip and fishing dock. The breakfast was nice, of course. The view from the hotel for St. Lawrence River was very beautiful. The hotel room was very friendly to me, because it gave me a friendly feeling to nature.

The cottages are delightful, spacious, and overlook the river. They are roomy and have a well-equipped outdoor barbecue. Breakfast is included and abundant (being gluten intolerant, I couldn't eat many things unfortunately). The staff is friendly.

The hotel offers a country setting on a 14-acre site with magnificent views of the St. Lawrence River. Clean beautiful out back to river

Overlooking Saint Lawrence River, this Johnstown inn is less than 1 km from the Canada/USA Bridge. Super clean. Quiet. So so welcoming. Never had the pleasure to meet the hostess but Rob is so very friendly. Makes you feel comfortable from the fit gp. One of the best rooms we have enjoyed. Great price.

Set amidst 20,000 m² of well-tend grounds, Johnstown Motel offers BBQ facilities and an outdoor pool. The accommodation enjoys free Wi-Fi and views of the St. Lawrence River. What sets this place apart is the beautiful location, overlooking the St. Lawrence River, and the exceptional friendliness of the owners. They felt like friends. And they gave us a great recommendation for what to do for dinner and poking around the area. They also relocated us to the back of the building so we would have less road noise and a better view. The bathroom had been redone recently and was exceptionally clean.
