Our stay at Homewood Suites in Princeton was amazing! After a long day of travel, we were welcomed with warm cookies and a complimentary bottle of water - so nice! Our room was clean, spacious and accommodating, with a kitchen, table, desk and couch. Perfect for traveling with my family. The morning breakfast was a wonderful spread of hot dishes and quick bites. The front desk was accommodating and cheerful over our entire stay. Can't wait to return when we visit Princeton again!

Princeton is a beautiful and interesting place to visit.

Princeton is a beautiful and interesting place to visit. There is so much history and art to explore and study . Such an accessible town to walk about. It's impossible to be bored here. Lots of attention to beauty and presentation: architecture and landscape . Since this was a family visit, I didn't have enough time to enjoy the musical offerings. We'll be back.

Customer safety is a huge concern.

Customer safety is a huge concern. The guy who entered our room I will believe was a staff but should not have entered for two reasons. 1. The shhh sign showing not to bother 2. Let front desk know on the day if arrival that we didn’t needed service while there. Our project was violated and a woman we didn’t feel safe and left. I let a young lady know who stated that she will reach out to the general manager but we have yet to receive a call, an apology, or anything. I requested for half of my money to be refunded for the inconvenience we encountered and needing to find a new hotel to feel safe

I just did more research about the rotten egg smell at Burger King in Monmouth Jct. The additive is mercaptan not sulfur which would be dangerous. "The additive put into natural gas to give it a noticeable smell is called mercaptan. This chemical has a strong "rotten egg" odor, which helps people detect gas leaks easily as natural gas itself is odorless. Key points about mercaptan: Function: Acts as an odorant to alert people about natural gas leaks. Smell: Often described as a "rotten egg" smell."

The restaurants surrounding the hotel were amazing.

The restaurants surrounding the hotel were amazing. I would go back just for the food. However, the facilities left a lot to be desired. The room layout wasn't the best, the curtains didn't close all the way, they didn't have all of the items you needed to cook and clean up afterwards, the beds were super uncomfortable, and they didn't give enough pillows to even make up for the bed being uncomfortable. And, the WiFi?! Terrible...I definitely would not stay here again.

The price was reasonable, the facility clean, the staff cordial, and the location excellent. Unfortunately, the room we stayed it (253) was falling apart, with multiple physical failures (including a non-functioning outlet, broken cabinets, frozen fridge, etc. The biggest disaster was the heating system, which was VERY noisy. Since it cycled on/off every so-many-minutes, it successfully kept us up most of the night, and almost ruined our visit to friends the following day. The "breakfast" also was seriously sparse, with virtually no "food" choices (no decaf coffee, only two cold cereals, no eggs, etc.). Not at all impressive. As we were driving away, my wife commented that we should have stayed at some other motel, even if the cost of doing so was significantly higher. She was correct in this observationl

We took Non-Smoking Room, it was located on 3rd Floor, if not all but all nearby rooms are non-smoking tagged, despite of that toooo strong cigarette or drug smoking was coming from neighbor door. Elevator was also stinking a lot. Cleanliness and Hygiene are the key issue with this Hotel. 2nd or 3rd night Air-Condition stop working. When I called service desk he said someone will come next day as he don't know how to fix and no-one else who can fix was available at 10:30pm. I reset plug and unplugged it, wait for 10 mins and that tick worked. Their Maintenance Guy came next day around 12pm. :) I told him I fix the problem. We booked for 5 nights and regretted to choose this hotel.
