Arrived near midnight, but staff was helpful, received room keys within minutes. Dropped my watch near the front deck and the lady kept the watch for me, very grateful but I forgot her name, it was the night of 11 July. I needed sewing kit and she got me one, again very grateful.

Don't book through booking.com. it was a true nightmare. I had th cancel booking and make my own reservation the night before traveling. The hyatt is a good place to stay and offers free shuttle that takes less than 5 minutes to get to the gates.

The people are friendly. Uber is reasonable.

The people are friendly. Uber is reasonable. The area is beautiful. Restaurant prices are reasonable. The University of Pittsburgh is not friendly to GRANDPARENTS-after we were welcomed to attend our Grandchild's graduation without tickets for months-for the first time ever, 6 days before graduation -each FAMILY of a Graduate was issued 4 tickets only (generally Mother Father and 2 siblings). So grandparents were sent off to a Field House which was cold, uncomfortable with 3 screens ( the one in front of us did not work properly too dark) and you could not discern the face of the individual graduating on the screen. When I complained politely about being isolated with a few hundred other mostly old folks-they sent in six guards (dressed ominously) with dogs??? For a 70 year old MD PhD JD Grandmother who was dissatisfied? Quite rude and inappropriate. Perhaps administration should reconsider their policy changes at the last minute-they are sorry? Not as sorry and disappointed as I am/was. We had to meet our Grandchild on the very cold and windy street-I hope that no other child from my family attends the University of Pittsburgh. This treatment was in stark contrast to the welcoming, warm and hospitable environment of The Doubletree by Hilton and the people of Moon Township. The fishbone grill was excellent as was Caroline's at the Doubletree Hotel. Thank you!

Right at expectations - though my expectations were fairly low. Coming in late, it irked me that the front desk personnel made me go back out to the parking lot to get my license plate number - even though parking was not anywhere near full. Room was very loud as there was a loud gap under the door and you could hear every door that was opened in the hallway.

Ambridge is a quiet little town 40 minutes north/west of Pittsburgh. It is a straight drive to the stadiums and not too far from the airport and fairly easy to navigate. While it is quiet on a weekend evening, my son found delicious wings and music entertainment at a local hangout. The patrons were friendly and accommodating and the wings are top notch! If you are trying to avoid staying downtown or too close to the airport this is a good option.

Had a few hours before airport shuttle took us to airport. Walked 20 minutes and found a cool children’s consignment shop with clothes toys and books (Once Upon a child), visited animals at the Petco, had lunch at Broadway pizza. There’s also a Starbucks, sub place, running shop and shoe stores, IKEA and Hobby lobby. Post office and UPS too if you happen to overshop and need to ship things home, which I considered.

Honestly, I only stayed at the Hyatt Airport. I can't give a fair review of Clinton. The "new" stretch of highway (toll road 576) makes it easy for those to get out an explore if they so choose.

I don’t understand how this La Quinta got it’s good ratings.

I don’t understand how this La Quinta got it’s good ratings. It is a level far below what I have come to expect from this chain. First impressions are not good upon entering the parking lot. The property looks dated, dirty and shabby. The parking lot was full and I was forced to park next door in the Bob Evan’s lot and, only as I entered the lobby, did I see a notice posted on the front door directing people to do this. The clerk at the counter said I wouldn’t be towed. She was not friendly or overtly unfriendly but seemed like she would rather be somewhere else. My impression of the lobby and halls was the same as the exterior. The building is dated and the rugs need to be replaced or well cleaned. Frankly, I would have cancelled my stay if it hadn’t been after 10 pm and the booking was supposedly unrefundable. The room was freshly painted looking but not really clean in the corners. The fridge and microwave were too old and grubby for me to want to use. The bottom of the tub was dirty black in the no skid texture. I killed 4 large shield bugs during my stay in the room. The toilet move when you sit on it. The quality is just not up the the chain standard and, given this, I feel it is over priced at$140 something a night with tax through the booking.com site. I should have paid a bit more and stayed up the street at the Hampton.

Did not explore the area and was in Robinson Township for less than 24 hours, so I can't really make a fair assessment of the general area. The trip was business related. Arrived late evening, visited the company location for most of the following day and then left for home after business was conducted.
