I grew up a bit here.

I grew up a bit here. This area has many places you can go to. There are a plethora of restaurants, fast food, hotels, motels, common gyms, and other attractions near by. Boyce park is also near by which has activities from sledding to swimming. Unfortunately depending on the time you read this review, the monroeville mall may be closed. If you’re lucky to get to experience before they permanently close, they have a theater, arcades, laser tag, and your regular mall stores. Majority of these places are within walking distance depending on where you are staying. If you don’t feel like walking, there is also a bus line that runs out there and a booming hailing car selection in this area. Bonus Favorite things to do in monroeville Food/bar: Rosecliff Tavern( A MUST TRY, although they do allow smoking so if you’re sensitive to smoke this would not be fore you) Dennys Hotel/motels: Hampton inn(5/5) red roof(really great for budget) Wave pool is nice and cheap and the rest of the parks are calm and well taken care of.

I enjoyed shopping at Monroeville Miracle Mile plaza.

I enjoyed shopping at Monroeville Miracle Mile plaza. I went shopping at Marshall's , and 5below store for my grand children it was nice .I got back to room rested until time to go to dinner at local place where we attended a family reunion. I mentioned where I was staying at Extended stay by the CVS.smiles.😇😇😇

Room smelled like cigarettes and had burn hole on comforter...

Room smelled like cigarettes and had burn hole on comforter and burn marks on floor. Clerk at check in repeatedly brought up the a $60 charge for smoking in room. Funny since our room clearly was smoked in. What did they do with money they charged last guest????

We went to Monroeville park, and they have a zen space , walking track it was really nice.😊😊.Movies at the Mall.We have 5guys a burgers place 3pm and dinner at Hibachi grill called Saga. It was all good. 😊😊😁

Monroeville is the Gateway to Pittsburgh from the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Lots to do, great restaurants, great variety of shopping locations, places of worship for Hindus, Jews, Catholics, Protestants, and other religions. Great diversity. Far enough from Pittsburgh to be safe and suburban, but close enough to drive 20 minutes so see the sights of Mt Washington, experience the universities, medical centers, cultural events, and all Pittsburgh has to offer. We love it.

The staff was very accommodating, really friendly, helpful, professional and kind. The room was huge, clean, comfortable and air conditioning worked well. The bed was very comfortable but a little bit too high. A refrigerator, a microwave and ad tea/coffee maker served for our comfort. The breakfast was nice, hot options as well as bagels and cereal. It is close to the Monroeville Convention Center.
