We went to SLC enroute to Cedar City.
We went to SLC enroute to Cedar City. I was hoping to go see the Mormon Temple but it was closed.
Some of the buildings were just beautiful But it was difficult to navigate the one way streets. We also found parking was difficult in the city. We tried to use our credit card to pay at a parking kiosk. The device didn't take our card....we DO know how to use them. We got a parking ticket there!
The Comfort Inn we stayed at had a broken air conditioner in their breakfast buffet room and we had to take our breakfast back to our room to eat. Also their hot water didn't work when we were getting ready for bed and then it didn't work at all.

The cabin was cute and the park was nice.
The cabin was cute and the park was nice. But poor maintenance and location next to the freeway made things miserable. We couldn't even get a warm shower and the shower head hurt. The sheets were rough and the bed way too firm. None of the linens looked clean and there was lots of hair in the shower before we used it which made us wonder if it had been cleaned at all. The floor was very dirty when I cleaned up a spill the paper towel was black with dirt.

I had my suspicions about some of the other guest, checking...
I had my suspicions about some of the other guest, checking out our E bikes however I have no proof of that so unfortunately, they were stolen, but I think the hotel is taken immediate action to correct it other than that it’s a very safe place to stay

This is one of the most beautiful and magnificent places we have ever been! The mountain ranges are in view at every turn. Scenic drives are close by and stunning landscapes at every turn on those drives. The food options are endless, and the quality of all of the restaurants we tried was exceptional. Certainly a "Bucket List" place for travelers looking for a wonderful vacation experience!

The room was clean and all the furniture and lamps were modern and up to date. I really felt pampered and could ask the staff any questions that I had. I also appreciated that they honored my request for a 1st floor non smoking room and made it very accessible to my car to unload my belongings.

Bountiful was a place to visit for us as our daughter, son-in-law and grandson live there. Our visits are usually to see them. We have found that Bountiful has all that we have needed on our trips there.

Too hot during my visit-107 at the high point, but areas in the canyons were nice. I did a side trip towards Provo and Bridal Veil Falls-very beautiful creek and lots of shade trees in the area. Great place for a short hike, and lots of places to rest or picnic with tables and benches along the path. Also drove out to Antelope Island and saw the bison herd. Too hot to hike much and the smell of death outside around the lake, which is very low in water was not pleasant. Unusual area and no one lives near the lake area. Seeing it for the first time, it reminded me of Death Valley in CA.

I discovered some very nice restaurants including Black Bear Diner! And I love having a Starbucks right across the street alongside a very nice Smith’s Grocery Store. Close proximity to the airport is a bonus.

Manager here with very terrible she should not work with customers she was not going to let me talk she did not listen to anything I said and then changed your language with one of her other managers and decided not to pay me back my my deposit but they had me clean my sheets stating that there was something on there that wasn't I got the sheets clean and then they were just being mean after that and get my deposit

Be sure your Maps app is working properly. This was my first time to SLC, if it wasn't for my map app on my phone, I'd still be wondering around the city (Lost). It is a very confusing city, road wise. Road construction everywhere, traffic is not for the timid driver. Although other drivers are very considerate for the most part, once traffic starts moving...you better keep up. Just my opinion.
What would I recommend SLC for?

I arrived in SLC after 8 weeks in a campervan and cheap motels, and a 500 mile drive across the desert with no air conditioning. I spent two nights in the apartment sorting myself out before flying home across the Atlantic, and it was perfect. Spacious and modern, with some extras that I really appreciated. Washing machine and dryer. A toaster! Big fridge! And more, eg a pool and gym which I never used.

The SLC is in a convenient and quiet location in SE Salt Lake City. Parking and access were easy and the staff was very helpful. The hotel was going through renovations during my stay, but even the construction staff were very pleasant.

LOVE the location of this hotel, it’s in the heart of downtown SLC and is so close to amazing restaurants, venues, and dancing! Breakfast was great and the beds were super comfy!

This room has so much more to offer than any hotel room, and for such a great price. I cannot recommend it enough. The hosts' communication was clear and professional throughout. And the view is gorgeous from the balcony. Finally, one can easily access the building from SLC airport using the Green Trax line, and downtown is very accessible either on foot or using the Trax.

I stayed here for one night upon late arrival at SLC. Hotel was pleasant enough and helpful staff.
Breakfast was a nice bonus. Help yourself set up but had quite a nice basic choice. Waffle maker was good.

This Hotel was in an incredible location with Chris Hart next door for his Comedy Night in SLC. Accommodation and facilities is top notch with Undercover parking at a 25$ fee. Incredible views with snow capped mountain peaks everywhere. Loved it.

Apartment was very well maintained, clean and with complete furniture. Excellent position near Temple Square and 10 minutes walking from downtown. We chose it because it was very easy to reach by public transport (tramway) since we came from SLC Airport without a car. Staff was helpful and friendly.
