The hotel was Beautiful with that 40’s charm. It’s in a great location next to restaurants and shops. Plenty of parking. Dinner at the Campfire Restaurant was amazing.

Hotel and lake view are beautiful. Convenient location within walking distance to town. Boathouse Restaurant and Bar was nice. Food was good and service was great. Loved the wood floors in the rooms and the decor is lovely.

It had everything we needed, fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, can opener and a tea kettle. Well stocked with plates, bowls, cups & even wine glasses. Had some basic spices, salt & pepper and cooking spray, pots & pans, cooking utensils & silverware. We will definitely stay here again.

A gorgeous, huge log hunting lodge with very large, well appointed rooms that are comfortable, rustic yet luxurious. The staff are all so friendly, welcoming and genuinely happy to see their guests and make their visit as comfortable as possible. The whole staff is phenomenal. The food is excellent, and we loved the daily hot chocolate and snores, as well as the chocolate chip cookies left in our room by housekeeping.

Lake Clear is so beautiful! The Lake views are breathtaking.
Lake Clear is so beautiful! The Lake views are breathtaking. The Cozy Artist Cabin’s dock with the Adirondack chairs was the perfect spot.
And we discovered The Red Fox restaurant -all of our meals were delicious!
If you get a chance visit the Wild Center while you’re there. It’s amazing!

An amazing small city.
An amazing small city. Lovely high peaks location, fascinating history, friendly people. The CAVU cafe at the regional airport was a delicious surprise. Everyone has their own tastes. Take time to walk and explore and you will find wonderful people, great food, and lots of things to do.

We stayed in Saranac Lake to be close to Lake Placid and...
We stayed in Saranac Lake to be close to Lake Placid and High Peaks hiking as well as to be centrally located for the Adirondack bike trail. We did rent bikes in town and ride on the trail, which is beautiful and wasn’t overly crowded.

This is our second trip to Saranac in a month.
This is our second trip to Saranac in a month. Went out for the ice castle earlier in the month and back more recently for college tour in a nearby town. Blue Moon Café is fabulous and the nearby brew pubs a great way to end the day.
Enjoyed stopping into a few of the shops on historic Main Street, Adirondack Hamlets to Huts
