We had a suite with two queen beds because we were two parents with two kids. The room, the kitchen and the bathroom where much bigger and very modern, clean and really much more than we expected. The environment around the hotel is very new, very good atmosphere and nice places to dine etc. We were at gator park and it is an easy and short drive from the hotel and there was a strawberry and tomato picking place near where we spent time with the kids. Beakfast was very good, too.

Everything went well; restaurants, shopping malls, libraries, movie theatres, etc surrounded the location. The breakfast is fantastic! Even though Miami has heavy traffic, the hotel's proximity to the company was a blessing.

What I enjoyed the most were the comfy beds and hot showers along with an incredible and fullfilling breakfast. We had only stayed there for three short days but we try to make the best time possible and enjoyed every minute of it, your room rates have to do a lot with it, we thank you for providing visitors with affordable room rates.

Wifi works very well. TV guide is understandable. Lobby store is well stocked and convenient. Gym and pool are clean. Friendly staff. Grew up in Miami and familiar with area. Candlewood is always my choice when visiting family and friends.

I booked a room for my birthday trip to Miami with booking.com at Laquinta in Cutler Bay. The total for my 4 day stay was 707.00. My stay was from 2/14-2/-18/24. I arrived and checked in on 2/14. While eating a plate of food i purchased i saw a cockroach on the dresser by the coffee maker which i killed and took a pic of. That night i went to bed and twice awakened to a bug on my pillow which i killed and took a picture of. I got out of my bed and slept the rest of the night in the chair in my room. I awakened the next day to multiple big bites. I made management aware of the issue and they moved me to another room, but the damage had already been done and the i suffered the rest of my stay because of it. The following night i couldn’t sleep because of the intense itching from the bites. I woke up at 2am in the morning to purchase Benadryl just to sleep. I have receipt for that. The bites have worsened with each day and it’s impossible to sleep unless given medication they will make me drowsy. Because i have to take night medicine to sleep, it threw my entire day off and i missed breakfast. The bites are getting worse. I think I’m going to the ER or urgent care so they can see them. The only reason i stayed was because i couldn’t get another reasonable room on Valentine Day weekend. My birthday trip was ruined. I spent money on a flight and 700.00 on a room just to get bit up by bed bugs and spend my entire trip inside miserable due to uncontrollable itching. My Birthday Trip was ruined due to what happened at my stay in LaQuinta. This has been the absolute worse hotel experience I’ve ever had, and it absolutely ruined my birthday. Title: Very Disappointing Stay – I Checked Out Immediately I recently booked a room at this Quality Inn in Miami and was extremely disappointed. The first room they gave me was dirty from top to bottom. The bathtub was dirty, the floors were so filthy I didn’t feel comfortable walking on them, and even the drapes on the windows were stained and dirty. The room also had a strong foul smell, and the TV was very small, maybe around 13 inches. The whole room felt cramped and outdated, maybe around 200 sq ft at most. I went back to the front desk to ask for another room. At first, I was told there were no rooms available on the first floor, but then they tried to move me to another room on the same floor. That second room also smelled bad and did not feel clean. The front desk lady who was helping at first was very rude and dismissive, which made the situation even worse. The only positive part of my experience was a staff member named Denisha. She was very kind, professional, and went above and beyond to help me get my money back when I decided not to stay. She was the only person who tried to make things right. They eventually showed me another room on a lower/underground level that was cleaner than the first two, but the décor, furniture, and overall setup were very old and worn out. On top of that, the area around the hotel did not feel safe and was very uncomfortable to be in. Because of the unclean rooms, bad odor, rude front desk experience, and the overall environment, I chose not to stay at this property. I would not recommend this hotel, and I will not be returning.

Cutler Ridge was my destination only because I have kids and grandkids that live there. Traffic is not bad considering you are in Dade county. Turnpike get stop and go after 4pm There are several good ethnic restaurants in the area

While the staff at the hotel was friendly, the overall experience was disappointing. The room had cleanliness and odor issues, poor lighting, and lacked basic amenities like towels, which had to be requested. There was also no clear communication about breakfast options. Unfortunately, I don’t think I would return to a hotel like this, especially for the price I paid, there are many other options nearby with equal or better rates and much better standards. I expected more.
