Checkin was mobile and super easy and well-explained by text, the room was clean, well-stocked with necessary amenities, and the bed was super comfy (firm memory foam). You can tell this place is not new, but everything was in working order and anything old worked perfectly. Tahoe in January is cold, and the room stayed nice and toasty with the heater. The decor was rustic but clean, parking was super easy and plentiful (it helped that there weren't many other people staying there on that weekend. The kitchenette had a small stove and oven, sink, microwave, mini fridge, and had all the needed utensils and cleaning supplies. it would be easy to comfortably stay here at length. Super close to great food, shopping, fun, but was quiet and had great views/scenery.

Checking in is a little bit quirky, but not a problem. Got checked in real quick. Room was very clean and comfortable. Any negative posts before must of just had a bad day. The property is quiet, plenty of parking, and the staff was friendly. There are dining options close by and a 7-Eleven just up the street. This is our new go to place when we come to Tahoe. The room met all the basic needs with a bed, tv, bathroom, microwave, refrigerator.

This property is cozy and adorable. It is perfect for both families and couples and gives the perfect amount of nostalgia for the Tahoe I remember as a kid. The family that operates this property is so helpful and kind and makes the whole experience feel like you are visiting friends. My kids loved the s’mores around the fire pit at night, playing cornhole with new friend, the vintage games inside the lobby, and the free flowing hot chocolate. My sister and I enjoyed the bikes available to take out the bike trail to Tallac House right outside the door and the thoughtful and unique touches to the decorations in each room. We love Fireside and can’t wait to come back next summer.

We love the hot tub and the view of the lake!!! Favorite time to go is in the winter. Snow, hot tub and bowling.

Ravi at the front was so kind, great welcome helpful. The room was so nice and clean. The hotel is near every attraction like the lake and nightclub. Everything is perfect. Will be stay here again next time when we travel to Lake Tahoe.

The Bluebird Day inn & Suites hotel is 5 minutes' drive to Heavenly Ski Resort. Thomas F Regan Memorial City Beach is 1.5 miles away.

Convenient location. Cozy room. Great water pressure and hot water! Heater was awesome and kept us very warm and cozy in the low temps.
