it was very clean, pans and pots were provided which i think was very very nice, we could cook our own dinner and breakfast, bathroom was clean and spacious, we had a small backyard which was nice.

A complete one-bedroom apartment (with an underground garage) in a seniors' residence. An unusual arrangement, but it worked perfectly for us. There's no interaction with the residents, and it felt great to have a living room, kitchen and balcony. A great base for Caen, Bayeux and D-day sites for those with a car.
