Located in Hjalteyri, 19 km from Akureyri, Apt. Hotel Hjalteyri features views of the sea and the mountains from every apartment. Every room has a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. The accommodation is spacious and the owner is very nice. I really enjoyed the breakfast and the view from our room. It is a pity that we only stayed one night there.

In all our previous stays in Iceland we stayed in isolated houses in the country so it was a bit strange to enter an apartment building but the interior was fine. The kitchen was equipped and the bedroom was simple but fine. The amazing parts were the bunk and the jacuzzi that excited so much the kids that made also our stay easy and joyful!!
