Very spacious. Pool area is an absolute blast. Our apartment had big Terrance, well 2 of em. There is a grill witch we used a lot. Neighborhood is calm. Views are good. Nearest shop is in Ston. Altho there are 3 restaurants nearby.

A hidden little gem in the ancient walled town of Ston (a smaller, calmer and more authentic walled city of the old Dubrovnik empire). The apartment is on a quiet lane just meters away from restaurants and shops. Ston is small and everything is a short walk, from restaurants to the markets, entrance to the walls, castle, salt flats, and parking lots. The apartment was clean and neat, with fresh sheets and towels. Modern decor but with nice touches including exposed beams and stone walls. It is one flight up and on the main level has an open plan kitchen with modern appliances (oven, cooktop, hood, tall new fridge, kettle, etc), full set of dishes, utensils, and pots and pans, a table for 4, air conditioning, and an area with 2 single beds/couches and TV. The bathroom features a large walk-in shower (a rarity in Croatia) and is stocked with soap, TP, shampoo, etc. The wifi was fast, consistent, and reliable (also a rarity). The separate bedroom with door has a double bed, closet, bedside tables, lamps, etc. Upstairs a ships ladder/stairs takes you to a loft area with lower ceiling perfect for kids. It has two more beds, small skylight, and a large A/C unit. It is well insulated as we never heard our neighbors (there is a smaller apartment below and one more next door). There are shades on the windows as well as wooden shutters if you want full darkness for sleeping. The host Renato is wonderful and greeted us with a warm welcome. He communicated in advance, was waiting for us when we arrived, showed us through the apartment, helped us fetch our luggage, even arranged parking, and brought us gifts! He cares deeply about his country and has worked hard to restore these old buildings into modern apartments with character to bring life back to this historic town. We would happily stay here again if we can get back to Ston.
