With this ticket, you’ll have the chance to spend the day learning the basic elements of metalworking in a hands-on blacksmithing class.
After making your way to the workshop, you’ll participate in a private six-hour experience covering the essential elements of blacksmithing, including design, shaping, hammering and forging techniques. During your session, you’ll have a hands-on attempt at knifemaking, covering aspects such as heat treating steel, hand grinding and machine finishing. You’ll also be able to take your finished article home with you as a souvenir.
After crafting your knife, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about caring for your blade and discover the basics of blacksmithing as a business, including photographing and pricing products.
