During this experience, you’ll enjoy a two-hour Gordon River World Heritage cruise in Strahan with lunch, get a guided tour of Sarah Island and explore a rainforest. You’ll board the catamaran, Harbour Master and cruise along the Gordon River. You’ll view Hells Gates, the narrow-channel entrance from the Southern Ocean to Macquarie Harbour. You’ll also see aquaculture pens with ocean trout and Atlantic salmon. Additionally, you can enjoy live commentary on board.
At Sarah Island, you’ll get a one-hour guided tour of Tasmania’s first penal settlement. You’ll then get back on board for lunch. Thereafter, you’ll disembark at Heritage Landing to visit the UNESCO-listed Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park and the rainforest within. You’ll discover that the park is part of the South West Wilderness. You’ll then cruise back to Strahan.
