On this day trip, you'll visit Sozopol, an ancient settlement on the Black Sea. Your first activity will be a boat cruise around the island of St Ivan. Then, you'll make your way to the Old Quarter, where you'll tour through the quaint cobbled streets with your friendly guide. You'll see traditional wooden houses and learn how the town was once a bustling outpost of ancient empires, from the Romans and Greeks to Byzantine and Ottoman rule. Next, you'll head to a local restaurant for a lunch of characteristic Bulgarian specialties. After dining, you'll visit Ravadinovo Castle, a fairy-tale-like palace, with spires, towers and marble sculptures. You'll get the chance to roam the palatial gardens, petting zoo and artificial lake.
