During this tour, you'll travel by boat to the remote island of Saint Anastasia on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. You'll explore an island once inhabited by monks in the Middle Ages, and later, by political prisoners in the 20th century. You'll visit attractions like the restored monastery-turned-museum, the church with its unique wooden carvings and frescos and a healing herb garden, from which you can pick your own herbs to be brewed in a tea. You can also discover special liqueurs produced by the monastery and see a natural mussel plantation.
