This 1.5-hour tour will take you to explore the Itaipu Dam, a hydroelectric dam on the Paraná River between Brazil and Paraguay and one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.
You will travel in an open bus through the second largest hydroelectric plant in the world. First, you will see a 30-minute video documentary about the dam at the Visitor Reception Centre. Proceeding to the dam, you will stop at the lookout to enjoy dam views. If the weather conditions are favourable, you will reach the crown of the dam to enjoy views of Lake Itaipu. The experience will round off at the souvenir shop, where you can shop, before heading back.
