We are a small group of local guides who live and love Bamberg. We don't have a script that has to be memorized, but rather everyone can add their own personal touches in addition to the main sights in order to give you the most authentic and personal picture of the city possible. In addition to the history and architectural highlights, culture and customs are also part of our city tour. We would be delighted to welcome you on our tour.

On this city sightseeing tour, you will be able to discover the city's Baroque and Rococo-style buildings aboard a tourist train. Along the way, you'll get to hear stories about the ancient and present Würzburg from an informative audio guide. The train route will include highlights of the old town including the Würzburg Residence, the Marienburg Castle and a UNESCO-listed heritage site. You'll also have the chance to see the Old Bridge, the St. Kilian Cathedral and many more of the city's famous sights.

One of the darkest chapters in Bamberg's history is the witch hunts, to which hundreds of citizens fell victim in the 17th century. The hunt for witches and sorcerers was by no means limited to red-haired women or older mothers, as common clichés would have you believe, but rather included men and women from all social classes, right up to the mayors of Bamberg.
