On this tour, you’ll have the chance to discover the cave art of the Western Thousand Buddha Caves before exploring desert scenery at Yadan National Geological Park.
After pickup from Dunhuang, you’ll first head for the Western Thousand Buddha Caves, set into cliffs overlooking the Dang River. You’ll be able to explore five caves, where you’ll learn more about the history of the area and see the famous wall paintings.
You’ll continue your tour at the Yadan National Geological Park, where you’ll first have the opportunity to enjoy lunch. You’ll then travel between the park’s four main sites by bus, with free time to explore rock formations and discover views of the desert landscape. You’ll also have the option to upgrade your tour and extend your stay in the park to witness the sunset.
