This walking tour will take you to places that David Bowie frequented during his time in West Berlin. In the company of your guide, you'll learn how the Cold War zeitgeist of the late 1970s influenced the 'Berlin Trilogy' albums.
You'll see the clubs where Bowie and Iggy Pop partied during their time in Berlin and stop at the apartment the two friends shared in the Schöneberg district. You'll pass by the Hansa Studios where the singer created his famous song 'Heroes'. His favourite café, Neues Ufer, is also on the itinerary.
Along the way, you'll stop at the Bahnhof Zoo station, the KaDeWe shopping temple, a stretch of the Berlin Wall and the Topography of Terror Documentation Centre, giving you a better understanding of German history.
