This excursion will take you to two monumental attractions in the town of San Lorenzo de El Escorial. From Madrid, the tour vehicle will take you on a scenic ride to the municipality. Upon arrival, you'll embark on a walking tour to explore the main highlights of the town and learn why the monarch decided to construct the Royal Monastery of El Escorial here during the 16th century.
Afterwards, you'll head to the Valley of the Fallen, a Basilica and monumental memorial. Here, you'll see the 150 metre-high cross and the Basilica carved into a hill with the stunning Madrid mountain range as a backdrop. After your day of exploration, the vehicle will take you on a comfortable journey back to Madrid.
