On this tour, you'll head to Somme Battlefields, a place that witnessed the bloodiest battles of World War I. From Paris, you'll go on a two-hour drive to the Somme region where you'll explore the battlegrounds still scarred from the war. As you walk past the Lochnagar mine crater and along the trenches at Beaumont-Hamel Newfoundland Memorial, your guide will offer insights into the history of the Great War.
You'll visit the Sir John Monash Center, the Thiepval Memorial to the Missing and the Australian National Memorial in Villers-Bretonneux. You'll also have an opportunity to see the Cathedral of Amiens, built in the 13th-century.
