On this three-hour small-group guided walking tour, you'll get to visit a vineyard in the Vouvray region of the Loire Valley. Your guide will be the granddaughter and wife of local winegrowers. She'll take you on a walk through the vines, sharing insight into the history, soils, and grape varieties of the vineyard. You'll then head to the winery for a tour and tasting in the rock-hewn cellar. Here, you'll taste six Loire wines and learn about the wine-making process. Local delicacies will be served alongside the wine.

This winery is located near Vouvray (10km), between the cities of Tours (20km) and Amboise (15km) in the Loire Valley.
If you are staying in Tours, it is possible to get to the winery by bus. Bus #54 leaves the city centre about every hour. The ride lasts 20-25 minutes and will allow you to enjoy the Loire and discover the dwellings dug in the rock in the wine-making villages of Rochecorbon and Vouvray.
Your guide will meet you at the bus stop when you arrive in Vernou-sur-Brenne. The return trip costs about EUR 3. Please contact the tour provider for more information about the bus rides.
