On this small-group tour, you'll have the opportunity to see notable London sights surrounding Buckingham Palace. During the stroll, your guide will lead you past St James's Park, St James's Palace and the Mall, which is a roadway that leads to Buckingham Palace's front gates. You'll also have a chance to see the Changing of the Guard ceremony, during which the Old Guard – soldiers currently on duty – are relieved of their responsibilities by the New Guard, traditionally accompanied by a band.

    What You Need to Know

    Meet your guide at the Duke of York Column at the time you selected at booking. Your guide will be holding a tour sign.

    Please arrive on time. Latecomers and no-shows won't be refunded.

    This is a 1.5-hour guided tour that ends at Buckingham Palace. On Sunday, the tour is extended to two hours.

    This tour involves a moderate amount of walking and climbing staircases. Please ensure you are fit enough to participate

    Please note that the Charging of the Guard ceremony is subject to changes in date, time and cancelation at the discretion of the British authorities. Cancelations due to inclement weather will not be announced before 11:00. In the event of a cancelation, you can still see a 'wet change' in which the march occurs without music or a parade.

    Depending on the tour date, you will either see Foot Guards or Horse Guards.

    If your tour is on a Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday, you'll have the opportunity to see the changing of the Household Cavalry.

    This tour is not recommended for people with disabilities.

    This tour is not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs.

    Please wear weather-appropriate, waterproof clothing.
