On this one-day tour, you'll first visit the Palace of Knossos, where you'll be able to learn more about the ancient architecture of Greece. You'll then head to the Dikti Mountains in the east of Crete, passing traditional local villages on your way. In the Krasi village, you'll be able to rest and enjoy a cup of coffee.
After that, you'll have the opportunity to explore the Lassithi Plateau and reach the Cave of Zeus, also known as the Diktaean Cave, on donkeys. You'll also be able to visit a local ceramic workshop and a Byzantine monastery with ancient frescoes and a unique icon inside.
You'll have the chance to finish the journey in a traditional tavern, where you'll be able to enjoy Cretan lunch.
