Join this fascinating and revealing walking tour and discover many impressive facts about this beautiful and charming town that has been inhabited since Neolithic times!

We meet at Aegina's The Gate of Aegina on the main port then make our way to he landmark church dedicated to Saint Nicholas, who is Greece's patron saint of sailors. After, we walk past the ancient port to the Sanctuary of Kolona, inhabited from around 3000 BC. Discover the impressive small museum housing a fine collection of artifacts that were established there, including coloured vases, lamps, weapons, coins and a sphinx!

Then, we will stroll through shaded and picturesque streets past a local gallery, boutiques, local craft workshops and more. Discover historical landmarks, such as the Tower of Markello, the house of modern-day Greece's first governor, Ioannis Kapodistrias who had many positive impacts on Aegina, and hear the fascinating story of Aegina's beautifully built stone orphanage.
