The Arboretum is the oldest renaissance garden in Dalmatia. It dates back as far as 1492 when an irrigation aqueduct was built and was once owned by the Gučetić-Gozze family. Interested in plants, they ordered seeds and greenery from ships coming from different parts of the world
Explore the town of Ston; its salt pans and the longest fortified walls in Europe. A visit to oyster and mussel farms nested within Mali Ston Bay is also an option. This tour will take you through the picturesque peninsula of Pelješac, rich in winegrowing areas and a centuries-old tradition of producing excellent wines going back to ancient Greek and Romans.
We will be visiting three renowned wineries where you can see the process of production and learn about grape varieties that are grown here. Wine tasting is up to your choice.
