This tour will bring you to Killarney National Park. You'll begin at Old Weird Lodge and then move onto Kate Kearney's Cottage, located at the start of the Gap of Dunloe.
To traverse through the Gap of Dunloe glacial valley, you'll have the option to hire a 1.5-hour horse and carriage ride to Lord Brandon’s Cottage or you can walk. At this former hunting lodge, you'll have a free hour before the boat leaves at 14:00.
Here, you'll see lakes, rivers and several landmarks, such as Old Weir Bridge, Dinis Cottage, Innisfallen Island, The Meeting of the Waters and Brickeen Bridge. The boat tour will end at the 15th-century Ross Castle. Although the castle is not part of this tour, you'll be welcome to explore it on your own, with only a two-kilometre walk back to Killarney.

Please note that if chosen, payment for the horse and carriage section of the tour is made in cash to the drivers themselves on the day of the tour. Unfortunately, the carriage drivers may not charge a children's rate due to limited seating.
