On this tour, you’ll get to discover some of the most prominent landmarks in Mysuru city. You’ll begin by visiting the popular Mysuru Palace, which exhibits the Indo-Saracenic architecture style. You’ll have time to explore its intricate interiors that showcase multiple mouldings, fine carvings of birds, marble architraves, foliage, durbar halls, stained glass pavilion and much more.
Then you’ll head to Srirangapatna to explore the island fortress of the legendary warrior-king Tipu Sultan. You’ll come across many noteworthy sections inside the fortress such as Tipus mosque with twin minarets, Ranganatha Swamy Temple and the Wellesley Bridge. You’ll also visit Tipu’s Summer Palace and get to see the Daria Daulat Bagh or gardens.
Finally, you’ll reach the vantage point of the scenic Chamundi Hills, which was once called the land of Mahishasura, that morphed into the name of the city Mysuru.
