On this tour, you'll be able see the best of the Snæfellsnes peninsula in the company of a small group and a knowledgeable guide.
Starting from Reykjavík, you'll make your way to the 4,000-year-old Berserkjahraun lava field to admire its natural beauty. The tour will continue to the beautiful Kirkjufellsfoss Waterfall that will also give you a view of the picturesque Kirkjufell mountain. Stops at Djúpalónssandur's black sand beach – rich in fish and bird fossils – and the basalt pinnacles at Lóndrangar will also be included in the itinerary.
Your journey will then take you to the ice-capped Snæfellsjökull volcano that was formed several millennia ago. You can round off the tour at Arnarstapi village, where your guide will be able to share fascinating stories about the mythical half-man, half-ogre character – Bárður.
