On this tour, you will get the chance to discover the beautiful Accademia Gallery, home to Michelangelo's sculpture David and other famous masterpieces such as the Prisoners, the Palestrina Pietà and San Matteo.
Thanks to an audio guide available in five languages, you will have the opportunity to learn about the history of Michelangelo's most renowned works while admiring the majestic sculpture of David, the emblem of the Renaissance-era ideal of beauty.
You will also be able to see pieces like the Palestrina Pietà and the Prisoners, some of the finest examples of Michelangelo's habitual 'non-finito' (incomplete) art technique. Afterwards, you'll get to see the museum's largest collection of paintings on a gold background and take a tour of the Museum of Musical Instruments housed in the Accademia Gallery.
