On this tour, you'll follow a local guide to iconic city landmarks and learn about Florence's history and culture through the ages.
The tour will begin in the historic Central Market, home to the Medici Chapels and the Basilica of San Lorenzo. You'll continue to other famous sites like the Palazzo Medici Riccardi, the Piazza del Duomo, Giotto’s bell and the Gates of Paradise at Florence Baptistery. You'll explore the medieval quarters where poet Dante Alighieri once lived. Near the Ponte Vecchio and Straw Market, you'll find the famed Porcellino statue. Finally, you'll head to the outdoor sculpture museum at the Piazza della Signoria, then to the Palazzo Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery, before finishing your tour at the Pitti Palace.
