Renowned for its lakes nestled amidst the Alps, the Italian-Swiss border region is located about one hour north of Milan. Your first stop will be Lake Como, where you'll board a boat for a two-hour cruise along the coastline. Along the way, your local guide will point out celebrity-owned holiday villas surrounded by Mediterranean gardens.
Back on land, you'll visit the village of Bellagio. You'll have the chance to explore the village at your own pace, with time to take a stroll, find photo spots or shop for souvenirs.
Continuing the trip in an air-conditioned coach, you'll cross the Swiss border and hop off in Lugano. In this town on the shore of Lake Lugano, you'll have more free time to wander through the centre, pass by historic churches, pop into exclusive shops and boutiques and purchase original Swiss chocolate.
