On this guided tour from Beirut, you’ll explore pine, oak and fruit trees in Qadisha Valley – home to one of the first Christian monasteries in the world. You’ll discover ancient caves, cultivated terraces and ruins of the monastery of Saint Anthony the Great, vestiges of which date back to the seventh century.
In the town of Bcharre, you’ll find the Cedars of God forest – the birthplace of the celebrated poet, painter and sculptor, Khalil Gibran. Also a ski resort, Bcharre houses 37 churches and the Gibran Museum, which has a vast collection of the poet’s artworks and relics.
