During this workshop, you'll learn the art of making Dutch clogs on a guided tour of a clog farm. Your clog-making session begins with a block of Dutch poplar tree that you will carve away at using a large knife and sharp spoon. The shoemaking process can be done alone or as part of a duo. At the end of the session, you will receive a semi-finished shoe that you can fashion with paint and engraving tools. Upon completion of the workshop, you'll learn about the process of making traditional Dutch Edam or Goude cheese. The experience includes a selection of biscuits, cheeses and fruit wine for you to sample.
