On this full-day sightseeing tour, you’ll discover some of the historical and natural highlights of the Jabal Samhan Nature Reserve with a local guide. You’ll travel by four-by-four and your first stop will be at the 19th-century Taqah Castle. You’ll continue to the ancient ruins at the UNESCO-listed site at Khor Rori, which was once a major trading port for frankincense.
After this, you’ll explore the natural side of the area with a trip to a large canyon that has panoramic views of the mountains and the coast. You'll then go into an evergreen wadi. Here, you’ll stroll along the wadi bed, surrounded by animals and dense vegetation.
On your way back to your hotel, you’ll stop at Ayn Razat to see a natural spring at the base of Qara Mountain in a lush valley.
