Huchuy Qosqo is a short and somewhat easy walk, ideal for those who want to trek. It is located at an altitude of 3,650 meters above sea level with views of the sacred valley and above the town of Lamay at an altitude of 2,920 meters above sea level. Its name means small Cusco, and it was the Inca Wiracocha who ordered the construction of palaces and temples, because, feeling old and tired, he wanted to leave the government and go live in Huchuy Cosco. What can be seen today in this place are the large terraces along way of retaining walls, which leave terraces suitable for agriculture.
