This excursion will allow you to explore Fajardo’s famous Bioluminescent Lagoon.
On board a tandem kayak, you’ll paddle through red mangrove forest channels leading to Laguna Grande in Las Cabezas de San Juan Nature Reserve. Here, you’ll have a chance to admire a body of water that naturally emits swirls of magical blue light due to bioluminescent planktons.
As you witness the enchanting natural phenomenon, you’ll have an opportunity to learn about the Earth’s unique ecosystem and how you can help protect nature.

This activity has a weight restriction. Participants must be within 113 kg in weight per person or up to 192.7 kg in combined weight per kayak.
The minimum age for participating in this tour is six years.
Participants aged 6–13 years must be accompanied by an adult on the same kayak.
Participants 14–17 must have an adult companion participating on the tour.
Please wear swimwear and watershoes or flip-flops and bring a towel and a change of clothes.
