Taking place at the Hodjapasha Cultural Centre, Rhythm of the Dance will introduce you to Turkey’s rich folk-dance heritage with a fusion of different styles. As you arrive, there will be an exhibition in the foyer on the cultural and historic significance of the performances you’re about to see.
A talented cast will perform an array of traditional dances elevated by modern choreography, with roots in the folk styles of the Anatolia, Balkan and Caucasian regions. You’ll watch male and female solo dancers, belly dancers and group performances accompanied by projected special effects and featuring dazzling costumes.
